Murata's new wide input range, single output PQC series industrial / medical power supply, rated output power is 250W, and is packaged in an industry standard 3 "x 5" open rack, occupying 1U. When operating at temperatures up to 50C, this efficient design can use convection cooling to provide its full output. The PQC series can adapt to a universal AC input voltage range of 90VAC to 264VAC, and a frequency range of 47Hz to 63Hz. Efficient convection cooling design uses the best thermal management to provide energy efficiency levels up to 95%. The PQC series currently offers 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 36V, 48V or 54V single output variants, each with a 5V backup power supply. This series has a remote enable function and consumes less than 500mW in standby mode. These power supplies can continuously provide full output power over a wide temperature range from 0C to 50C and up to 70C (derating). This series complies with medical, consumer and ITE IEC / EN / UL 60950-1 safety certifications and has 2 X MOPP isolation. These devices have 4000VAC (input to output) or 1500VAC (input to PE) isolation, making them ideal for powering devices such as ultrasound monitors, blood pressure monitors, incubators, ECG equipment, and operating tables. EMI compliance is certified to EN55022 Class B conducted emissions. When the application requires more power or redundancy, the reduced current sharing feature allows two or more power supplies to run in parallel to increase output current capability and flexibility.
